I believe all Americans who believe in freedom, tolerance, and human rights have a responsibility to oppose bigotry and prejudice based on sexual orientation.

TROPICAL WAVE

The Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida's Vocal Ensemble

Tropical Wave is the premier vocal ensemble of the Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida. Led by GMCSF’s Assistant Conductor Anthony Cabrera, the group consists of approximately 20 dedicated singers. These vocalists invest extensive time in developing and delivering specialized performances that reflect the spirit, artistry, and mission of GMCSF.  With a diverse repertoire spanning classical choral, Broadway, contemporary pop, jazz, and LGBTQ+ anthems, Tropical Wave offers high-quality, intimate performances across the region.

They serve as the musical ambassadors of the Chorus, bringing the message of inclusion, unity, and affirmation to spaces where the whole chorus might not typically perform. Whether featured at local non-profits, civic events, fundraisers, or cultural celebrations, Tropical Wave helps extend GMCSF’s reach and impact throughout South Florida.

Frequently showcased in our mainstage concerts and community appearances, this ensemble plays a vital role in opening minds, changing hearts, and affirming the truth and dignity of LGBTQ+ people through the transformative power of music.
