Guests are welcome to wear face coverings at any time at our performances or events. Please note that we are seating audiences with NO SOCIAL DISTANCING. This practice is consistent with other live performance experiences in this region. We ask that anyone with any symptoms of COVID-19, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 stay at home (and continue to wear a face covering) for your well-being and the health & safety of others.
Guests are welcome to wear face coverings at any time at our workshops and rehearsals. 100% of our Chorus members, leadership, staff, and volunteers have voluntarily shown proof of vaccinations. Additionally, all artists on the stage have shown evidence of a negative COVID-19 test or have demonstrated free proof of immunization. Our organization continues to conduct rapid testing during concert week and at each scheduled performance. We also may require additional testing.
Ticket holders are responsible for educating everyone in their party about our admission policies. We take our patrons' and performers' health and safety very seriously. Early this year, we convened a Re-entry Committee, including an advising physician. As we've returned to live rehearsals and in-person concerts, this committee has evaluated the current data and the options required to keep our members and patrons as safe as possible. We also closely follow the protocols established by significant performing arts organizations in Broward County.
We remain committed to the health and well-being of our guests, artists, staff, and volunteers and are grateful to our health advisors who have helped guide us through this challenging time. As local conditions have continued to improve, we are updating our health and safety guidelines, following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and our health advisors. For those with questions or concerns about possible COVID-19 exposure, please refer to the CDC guidelines or the Florida Health website.
While we are taking every step possible to keep patrons and performers safe, we believe it is essential for our patrons to know that there is no 100% protection against the threat of COVID-19. The practices we are implementing are consistent with local guidelines established to provide the safest possible experience for audiences attending live performances. Please consult your physician to discuss your safety and the best choices. Participation at GMCSF concerts is at your own risk. To ensure the safest possible experience, those who do not follow our admission policies may be required to leave the event without a refund.
