YPCSF will engage young people from Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties for whom participation in a chorus can be life-changing. Prior singing experience is not required to participate. The group will work on music that matches the members' skill levels, and our goal is to promote messages of inclusion and a sense of belonging for everyone. We welcome all singers of all gender identities who are of high school age in the current school year. Please subscribe to find out more.
Rehearsals/Performances: We plan rehearsals to be held on two Saturdays a month at Sunshine Cathedral Center of the Performing Arts - with an appearance in our concerts. Additional community appearances may be developed depending on the interests and availability of the group. Safety protocols: We will adhere to strict safety protocols regarding adults and youth working together. All adults who work directly with youth must pass a criminal background check, and at no time will a young participant be alone with an adult. Parents/guardians are permitted and encouraged to attend rehearsals. Participants will submit health information and medical releases as part of their registration. COVID-19 protocols may be in effect. Participation fees: Dues for each concert session are $35. Scholarships opportunities are also available. Volunteering: We welcome parents and legal guardians who would like to assist with YPCSF in any capacity. All adult volunteers must register and agree to a criminal record check. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out our volunteer form.
